The Berlin based designer Mila Micic is the creative mind behind the scarves label Aschoen. Aschoen has joined forces with Berlin based Urban Artist PABO. While most of PABO’s works on the streets or at exhibitions stick to concrete, his approach on 20th century icons is more textile.The result is a marriage of street with high art: Aschoen’s special edition of scarves display strong personalities in a most fragile manner.

Virginia Johnson is a Canadian clothing/textile designer and illustrator. She studied

at Parsons School of Design before designing shoes and bags for Helmut Lang. She left the company in 2000 to pursue her work in textiles and illustration, and to work on her own clothing line. Her first collection was introduced in spring/summer 2002. Virginia finds inspiration in her travels and in the nature close to her native Toronto. Her AW09 shawls are available worldwide, in Liberty, Net-a-Porter, Barneys.
